Synopsis: Following a break-in where nothing is stolen, a family decides to install security cameras throughout their house which document a series of strange happenings. This film though actually a equal, serves as both prequel and sequel to the original Paranormal Activity.

Reason for watching: Loved the first one.
Highlights: Love the style of the film (slice of life - all video from handheld or security cameras).
Lowlights: Most of it didn’t feel too innovative or different from the first film.
Rewatchabilty: Definitely rewatchable.
Overall review: As with the first film, this movie is a film people either love or hate. I find the premise/style of these movies very effective. With that said, however, I think there wasn’t a lot of things new about this movie versus the original, though it had a stronger plot and characters. I liked it, but if you did not like the first one or are not interested in seeing more of the same, skip it.
