Synopsis: After moving to a new town, a troubled teen is haunted by a ghost of a young girl urging her to reveal the true story behind an urban legend.
Year/Country: 2006, USA
Subgenres: urban legends, ghosts, haunting, creepy kids, twist ending
Reason for watching: The description sounded spooky. I love urban legends.
Highlights: I particularly enjoyed seeing cars pushed over the railroad tracks by unseen ghost kids who left handprints and fingerprints all over. Added bonus: Andy Lawrence. It’s so funny to see child actors when they’re older.
Lowlights: Twist ending was super predictable.
Rewatchabilty: Maybe
Overall review: There was a lot to like about this movie. The little girl was spooky, the mom was easy to hate, there were both supernatural and human evils. Though it won’t become a classic and it’s not an exceptional film, it was a good watch.
